Design errors - PAKISTAN




As the value in arabic scripture appeared to be inverted, a corrected stamp was issued.

An inverted Islam-moon was immediately corrected.
 


1956

A star cannot be visible in the dark part of the moon surface.
 


1961

Error in the country name in the local scripture. A corrected stamp was issued.
 


1962

Daffodils have 6 floral leaves, not 5 as featured on this stamp.
 


1964

Wrong : children day - Correct : children's day.
 


1967

Wrong birthyear - wrong : 1877 correct : 1873. Correct on other stamp
 


1968

Wrong : PAIS - Correct : PAISA
 


1973

Wrong : children day - Correct : children's day.
 


1976

Bell's first name was omitted. The correct name is Alexander Graham Bell.
 


2000

It is clear that the safety rules must be improved urgently !
 


2007

To commemorate an internation meeting, Pakistan used a stamp issued the year before by Iran. But they forgot to add their own country name and to remowe some side information. The stamp was withdrawn.
